What did they do to catching ASP on spinning bait? They seem to have nerfed this at all locations....can't catch anything but ESOX on spinning baits that I used to catch ASP on at Volga Pier. Yes..I am using Large Hook and casting past 30M.
Hey Гость the post below from Old Boys is very close to correct, however you will see I have just made a video showing the places and lures to use to catch them. Volga Peir at 330-345 Yellow/Black Twister does still work most cast.
It's important to understand the later in the day it gets, the more ESOX you will catch. Best time is 05:00as to 23:00pm but after about 16:00hrs you will catch more ESOX. KEEP your bait high in the water for best results and I hope this has been of help.
